The historic Hole-in-the-Wall Lighthouse on Harbour Island. The lighthouse was the first Imperial Lighthouse Service light to be built in the Bahamas, finally automated in May 1995. It's better known for being a hideout for Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
A visitor to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, encounters a lovely Green Turtle. The resort has a 3 million gallon habitat that has over 100 different species of tropical fish and a Green turtle.
The Guanahani Landfall Cross in San Salvador. Many 16th, 17th and 18th century maps have a place marked 'Guanahani' situated somewhere in the Bahamas. The name is actually the first native name of the landfall of Columbus. Recent history has identified the name Guanahani as either Cat Island or Watlings Island.
Vert Lowe of New Plymouth, son of historian and traditional boat-builder Albert Lowe. Vert continues to build boats in the traditional way that's been passed on from father to son.
The Hermitage on Cat Island is a miniature monastery and excellent replica of larger medieval hermitages found in Europe. It was built on Mt. Alvernia in the 1940s by Father Jerome, an architect, Jesuit missionary and later in life, a hermit. Father Jerome is buried at this site.
